You will lead the POS Operations stream, responsible for merchant-facing modules that power daily business management — catalogue, inventory, staff, and online booking.
Your mission is to ensure these core operational tools are reliable, scalable, and profitable, serving as the foundation of how SMEs run their businesses with Fortis.
You’ll collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Data, and Product Marketing to define roadmap priorities, ensure delivery quality, and drive product adoption.
KPIs
Leading: release velocity, feature adoption, operational reliability, and feature maturity index.
Lagging: module P&L (revenue vs cost), attach rate of operational modules, merchant retention, and contribution to GMV growth.
Core responsibilities
- Own the roadmap and P&L for catalogue, inventory, staff, and booking modules.
- Define requirements and prioritize features based on customer needs and commercial impact.
- Drive continuous improvement of feature usability, scalability, and maturity.
- Partner with PMMs to ensure GTM alignment and measurable adoption.
- Monitor performance metrics, SLAs, and feature profitability.
- Collaborate with data and finance teams to measure and forecast product ROI.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a Product Manager in consumer-facing b2b SaaS, fintech, or POS/retail-tech environments.
- Proven ability to scale product adoption — from MVP to mature, profitable modules.
- Strong grasp of unit economics, cost structures, and product profitability metrics.
- Analytical and data-driven; comfortable managing product P&L and forecasting ROI.
- Skilled at collaborating with Engineering and Data teams to deliver at scale.
- Hands-on, execution-oriented, and thrives in fast-scaling environments.
Nice to have
- Experience with multi-device POS systems or horizontal SaaS platforms (e.g. Shopify, Lightspeed, SumUp, Square).
- Familiarity with GCC SME markets and merchant operational ecosystems.
